Public Park & Housing Law

In addition to the basic penalties for drug distribution or manufacturing, you could be facing another 3 to 10 years in prison if you were caught distributing, manufacturing, or selling CDS within 500 feet of a public park, public housing project, or public building.

Manufacturing or selling CDS in a public park or housing zone is a second-degree crime, subject to 5 to 10 years in prison. There are similar enhanced penalties for distributing, manufacturing, or selling CDS in a school zone.
